On very rare occasions after removing heavy stains like the ones above left especially on a lighter colored roof there may be some slight shadows or minor color difference where the heaviest of stains grew as shown on the right photo. These "shadows" are a result of the granules that have been died often blue or pink from the fungus and or algae which grew deep inside the granules over a long period of time. Some minor shadows are showing on the roof above right after removing the fungus and algae from the roof. This is very rare situation with the Roof-Brite system however it must be addressed. If this situation could NOT be corrected it would result in a very un-happy customer and a job you would not be proud of nor would you want any prospective customer to see it! The solution to this serious problem is quite simple. ARB Britener mixed 1-1 with water lightly misted over the affected shingles with a small 2 gallon pump up sprayer will quickly remove every trace of a color change within a few minutes and you can be on your way to the next job. ARB Britener applied directly to the affected area only. Removes a very faint shadow like discoloration caused by fungi dying of some granules which is noticeable only after the stain removal process is completed and the roof is dry. This is a very rare occurrence however it must be addressed in order to satisfy the discriminating customer)
