As one of the worlds leading tub refinishing supply companies SPR recognized many decades ago what was causing so many bathtubs to need to be refinished. The culprit turned out to be abrasive cleaners. As time passed many people quit using them only to fall victim to new reformulated camouflaged harsh abrasives in a liquid form often referred to a soft cleaning products. The only difference was these newer products were a little less abrasive and in a liquid form. Then came the really tough liquid cleaners with no abrasive in the form of harsh acid or alkali cleaners. These chemically eroded the surface just a bad as the abrasives did. There are just as many tubs being refinished today as a result of harsh liquid cleaners as there were 30 years ago from powdered abrasives.

As a result SPR developed a tub and tile maintenance system that contains NONE of the above.

After restoring your tub a NEUTRAL cleaner is essential in keeping it looking like new. That is exactly why we include the SPR (floral scented) Neutral Cleaner in your tub care kit. In addition having the right scrub pad is essential since it must not scratch the surface, that is why we include the SPR white cleaning pad in your kit. It actually polishes your tub every time you clean it. The SPR foaming dispenser never sprays the product into the air, in fact it actually dispenses the product as a foam on the surface.

In order to protect the tub surface and prevent dirt from sticking we include the exclusive SPR Tub & Tile Sealer and Polish. Every few months take a few minutes after cleaning your tub and tile and apply a thin even coat to your tub and tile for maximum protection and the longest life possible.

One of the secrets of keeping the tub and tile looking like new is drying the tub after each use. We include a unique micro fiber towel designed to remove water and at the same time strip away microscopic mineral and dirt deposits which are left behind in water droplets from ALL municipal and well water systems. Those mineral deposits are what the next baths dirt would naturally stick to. Unless they are remove after each bath by drying the surface, minute mineral deposits soon accumulate and are very difficult to remove. That is why so many people use harsh cleaners that result in so much harm and expense.
